Nakia Taueg

Nakia Taueg has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. They most recently held the position of Director of Design Engineering at YETI starting in June 2022. Prior to this role, Nakia worked at Fujikura Automotive America, LLC., where they served as an Engineering Director from July 2018 to May 2022 and as an Engineering Manager from January 2012 to July 2018. Before Fujikura, Nakia was an Engineering Manager for the Toyota Business Unit at Delphi from May 2009 to January 2012, and a PE Engineer in Toyota City, Japan from April 2008 to April 2009. They also worked as a Design Release Engineer at Delphi from 2001 to 2008. Earlier in their career, Nakia was a Component Design and Analysis Engineer at Honeywell from 2000 to 2001, and began their professional journey as an intern at General Motors from 1993 to 1995.

Nakia Taueg obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan between the years 1992 and 1997. Subsequently, from 1997 to 1999, Nakia pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
