Denise Abela

Denise Abela currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel and Commercial Legal Manager at Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd, a position held since June 2019. Prior to this role, Denise worked at MAMO TCV Advocates from May 2013 to May 2019, where contributions included serving as Senior Associate and Associate. Denise began a legal career at GSB Advocates as a Legal Trainee from July 2009 to January 2013. Educational qualifications include ongoing training in information security and privacy from the BSI Training Academy, certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals since 2018, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Maritime Law from the International Maritime Law Institute in 2013, and a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) from the University of Malta attained in 2012.
