Karen Jenson

Karen Jenson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Karen is currently the Director of Art Finance at Emillions Art, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Middle Market Sales at Ygrene Energy Fund starting in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Managing Director of Capital Formation at GRC Advising, where they spearheaded initiatives to advance diversity in the impact ecosystem.

Before that, Karen worked at Sterling National Bank as an Associate Managing Director from 2015 to 2020, where they sourced and closed loans for minority business owners and managed a portfolio of $150 million. At M&T Bank from 2011 to 2014, they served as a Relationship Manager, bringing in over $30 million in new loans and managing a portfolio of $40 million in senior debt across various industries.

In the earlier years of their career, Karen held roles at Albright-Knox as a Sales Development and Operational Efficiency specialist from 2005 to 2008, and at AmeriCorps VISTA as the Entrepreneur/Founding Director of Development for Arts-Kids, Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Overall, Karen Jenson has a strong background in finance, sales, and development, with a focus on promoting diversity and social impact.

Karen Jenson's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York. Karen has also obtained a certification in Business Strategies for Social Impact from Wharton Online in 2020.
