Mike Shoup is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as the Lead Site Reliability Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Yield Solutions Group since August 2021, Mike leads a DevOps team and empowers software engineers to build infrastructure in AWS utilizing Terraform. As an instructor at Software Freedom School, Mike teaches the use and benefits of free software including Nextcloud, Ansible, and Prometheus with Grafana. Previously, Mike held leadership positions at Daxko and talentReef, achieving significant operational improvements and cost reductions, while also enhancing customer onboarding processes during a prior role at P2 Energy Solutions. With a strong background in systems administration and support roles across several organizations, Mike has consistently focused on automation and efficiency in technical operations.
