Sheryl Gurrentz (Sammy)

Sheryl (Sammy) Gurrentz has extensive experience in compliance management, finance, and consulting. Sheryl (Sammy) has worked as the Director of Compliance at RefiJet and Yield Solutions Group since 2020, where they design, manages, and implements compliance management systems. Additionally, they have experience as the CFO for Colorado Food Products since 2017. Previously, Sheryl worked at Scordo, Gurrentz & Associates, Inc. from 2009 to 2020, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer/Senior Consultant, specializing in operational, marketing, strategic planning, and investment analysis consulting. Sheryl (Sammy) is also skilled in working with non-profits to develop effective methods to achieve their missions and manage fiduciary responsibilities. Prior to that, Sheryl held positions at Paragon Audit & Consulting as a Business Development-Contract Consultant and at Universal Special Auto Finance as the COO. Sheryl (Sammy) began their career as an Executive Consultant at Centrix Financial, providing strategic and operational consulting for a nationwide subprime auto finance company.

Sheryl (Sammy) Gurrentz attended the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School from 1982 to 1986. During this period, they pursued a degree in Economics with a focus on Strategic Planning and Business Law. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Consumer Credit Compliance Professional certification from the National Automotive Finance (NAF) Association.
