Ibrahim Taskin

Head of Global Legal Affairs at Yildiz Holding A.S.

Born in 1963, İbrahim Taşkın completed his primary education in Trabzon and Artvin, and his secondary and high school education in Istanbul; He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1986.

İbrahim Taşkın, who is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, started his career as a self-employed lawyer in 1989 and as of 2019, he became one of the “lawyers who completed their 30th year in the profession”. Taşkın, who has been in academic studies since the beginning of 1990, gave lectures on Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Disciplinary Law and Police Professional Legislation at the Florya Police Training Center under the General Directorate of Security for four years. In addition to the experiences he gained in business life, he took senior positions in various levels of politics between 1996-2004.

Attaching importance to non-governmental organizations in addition to his legal and academic career, Taşkın took part in many NGOs as a Founder and Manager. Among the foundations and associations it is the founder of; Along with the “Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation”, “Consumer and Environmental Education Foundation” and “İlim Yayma Vakfı”, there is the “Ülker Members Association”.

In addition to being a member of Yıldız Holding's Board of Directors, İbrahim Taşkın is a member of the Board of Directors of many group companies. He is a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Assembly, a TOBB delegate and a member of MUSIAD.

Taşkın, who has been working as Legal Counsel, General Manager of Legal Affairs since 2004 and Head of Global Legal Affairs since 2016, respectively, at Yıldız Holding. He also holds the Presidency of the Ethics and Honor Board, the Food Safety Board, the Regulation and Institutional Transactions. Taşkın is also responsible for the coordination of Yıldız Holding's relations with public institutions, non-governmental organizations and universities. Taşkın, who speaks English, is married and has 4 children.
