Kuo Liu has a diverse work experience. In 2010, they were a Research Assistant at Peking University, where they were responsible for the establishment of "the first Chinese Knowledge Base" and conducted research on "Tag Recommendation among Different Online Encyclopedia Systems". In 2012, they were a Research and Development Engineer (Intern) at Baidu, Inc., where they were responsible for general-purpose script development and the research and implementation of "the model for short string correlation calculation" and "feature selection". In 2013, they were a Research and Development Engineer (Intern) at Sina Corporation. In 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University and a Research and Development Engineer (Intern) at IBM. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Google in the Search Ads 360 team. In 2021, they were a Co-Founder at YIRENTAL. Currently, they are a Co-Founder at Fundhomes and a Software Engineer at Meta. Additionally, they have two YouTube channels, one of which includes videos about technical interview (coding, system design, behavior) preparation, and the other includes videos about "white noise" used as background sound for focusing, sleeping, reading, working, massaging etc. and also some interesting statistics videos.
Kuo Liu attended Peking University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Kuo then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master's degree in Computational Data Science.
