Maija Taimi

Maija Taimi has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, starting as a Manager at JKL Group in 2000. Maija held several roles at Nokia, including Senior Communications Manager and Head of Media Relations, Finland. Taimi also worked at Cargotec Corporation and Fiskars Group as Chief Communications Officer. Most recently, they were a Principal Consultant at Tekir before becoming the SVP of Communications at YIT in 2022.

Maija Taimi completed their Master's degree in Communications and Marketing from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration in 2000. In 2021, they obtained a HHJ - Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen - CBM Certified Board Member certification from the Chamber of Commerce.
