Karen Tan, Ph.D., is an accomplished business leader and educator with extensive experience in the EdTech sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of YiYi English since January 2024 and as Founder since January 2018. Under Karen Tan's leadership, YiYi English has been recognized as a top online English platform, connecting learners with ESL teachers globally. Prior to this role, Karen Tan was CEO of Shoo-in Group (now CapstoneIQ), which focused on US-China commerce. Karen Tan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Business from Sejong University, an MSc in Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
