Brendan Cochrane

Brendan Cochrane is a Partner at YK Law LLP, with a focus on advising clients regarding the release of blocked funds and vendor evaluations for KYC and sanctions screening within Web 3. Brendan serves as an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University Law School, teaching a course on Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Law. As a Co-Founder of MGoDAO, Brendan contributes to initiatives that enhance the experiences of University of Michigan athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness partnerships. In addition, Brendan is the Principal and Founder of CryptoCompli, where investigations into ethical management practices in FinTech are conducted. Previous roles include Senior Investigator and Compliance Analyst at CoinStructive, Inc., where Brendan managed transaction analyses for law enforcement, and Legal Analyst at Mindcrest, focusing on financial services agreements for a major banking client. Brendan earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
