John G. Quigley

Co-Founder, Special Limited Partner at YL Ventures

John G. Quigley is a longtime principal investor. He has invested across the spectrum of private equity, venture capital, and real assets, both directly and in funds.

Mr. Quigley was a co-founder and managing partner of Nassau Capital, the private firm established in the mid-90s as the sole manager of the Princeton endowment’s alternative assets. During the 1980s he was a partner at a pioneering leveraged buyout firm, and thereafter helped establish the merchant banking arm of a major international bank. He began his career as an attorney with Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago. Over the years he has been actively involved in the governance of myriad businesses and pe/vc firms.

Mr. Quigley is a graduate of Georgetown (A.B., summa cum laude), Stanford (J.D., M.B.A.), and Columbia (M.Phil.). He has taught for many years on private equity, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance, most recently at Stanford Law School, and previously at Columbia, Princeton, and NYU.
