Philippe Lefebvre

Philippe Lefebvre has extensive work experience in the procurement and purchasing field. Philippe started their career as a naval officer in the Marine Nationale from 1983 to 1991. Philippe then worked as a project management consultant at Défense Conseil International from 1993 to 1996, where they were responsible for drafting specifications, negotiating contracts, and performing program management tasks.

In 1996, Lefebvre joined Philips as a cluster manager, overseeing facilities management and accommodation for 21 industrial sites. Philippe also served as an international category manager, managing maintenance and repair operations and implementing global sourcing strategies. During their time at Philips, they negotiated and administered national contracts and promoted supply chain enhancements.

From 1999 to 2001, Lefebvre worked at Quebecor World Printing as the director of purchasing, where they created and implemented a centralized national purchasing organization. Philippe launched a cost reduction program and achieved significant savings.

Philippe then joined Sara Lee Branded Apparel as the director of purchasing Europe from 2001 to 2003. Philippe established a multi-brand European purchasing organization and managed a procurement team based in seven countries.

Lefebvre served as the director of purchasing at INTERSPORT France from 2003 to 2005, where they managed a purchasing budget and implemented performance monitoring systems and working methodologies for product selection committees.

From 2006 to 2017, they worked at PMU as the head of purchasing, logistics, and real estate. Philippe led a department of 40 people and implemented purchasing processes, generating savings on addressed categories.

In 2017, Lefebvre joined Groupe Ymagis as the VP procurement, responsible for advanced digital technology services for the cinema industry. Philippe held the same role at CinemaNext since 2019, the largest cinema exhibition services company in EMEA.

Overall, Lefebvre has demonstrated expertise in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management across various industries, consistently achieving cost savings and implementing efficient processes.

Philippe Lefebvre has a diverse education history. In 1983-1984, they attended École Navale, where they completed the Naval reserve officer training programme, focusing on maritime science and navigation. Following this, in 1988-1989, they pursued an MSc in under water acoustics and signal processing theory at EOLSM. In 1992-1993, Philippe obtained an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, specializing in finance and quantitative methods. Later, in 2004-2005, they attended HEC Paris, where they earned a CESA in supply chain management. Lastly, in 2012-2013, they pursued a postgraduate research master's degree (former "DEA") focused on procurement organizations' positioning and performance at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
