Stacie Simpson's work experience includes various positions in the nonprofit and consulting sectors. Stacie is currently the Director of Communications at YMCA Camp Greenville. Previously, they worked as an Independent Barista & Team Leader/Trainer at Stacie Simpson Consulting, where they were also a Sr. Consultant in Grants & Marketing for the Girl Scouts of Citrus. Stacie served as a Program Strategy & Training Consultant for the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois and as an Adult Learning Consultant for the Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Stacie also worked as an Executive Consultant at Rodan + Fields. Prior to that, they held leadership roles at the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council and the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. Stacie began their career as a Camp Pathway Manager at Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast and a Membership Specialist at Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana. Stacie has experience as a Program Director at Camp Nicolet for Girls and as a Program Specialist at Girl Scouts of Woodland Council.
Stacie Simpson earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Leadership from Aurora University in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Management - Youth Programming & Camp Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2009. Stacie also pursued additional continuing education through online courses offered by edX in 2018. Stacie has obtained several certifications, including a Food Protection Manager Certification from ServSafe in July 2022, a Full Focus Planner Certified Pro certification from Michael Hyatt & Company in 2021, and a Youth Mental Health First Aid certification from USA Mental Health First Aid in February 2020. Stacie's other certifications include a Japan Certification from Rodan + Fields in 2020, a Litmos White Belt certification from SAP Litmos in 2019, and a Camp Director Certificate (in progress) from the American Camp Association in 2014. Additionally, they achieved the Girl Scout Gold Award from the Girl Scouts of the USA in 2005.
