Doug Cronk

Doug Cronk CFA, PRM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and investments. Currently serving as the Academic Chair for the School of Business at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Doug also holds positions as an External Member of the Investment Advisory Committee for Alberta Municipalities and a Board Trustee for the YMCA Canada Retirement Fund. Previous roles include Director of Client Relations at Alberta Investment Management Corporation and Manager of Investments at IWA-Forest Industry Pension, among others. Doug's background includes volunteer service as an Armoured Reconnaissance Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the University of Manitoba, certifications as a CFA, PRM, and CIMA, as well as achieving the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. Doug actively contributes to the community as a Board Member for PRMIA's Calgary Chapter and serves as an External Board Director for the YMCA Foundation's Investment Committee.
