Mary E. Barnett Campbell has extensive experience in education and program administration. Mary E. Barnett has worked as an Early Education Director at the YMCA of Greater Boston and later at the YMCA-Boston Police Headquarters Childcare. In both roles, they supported teaching and learning by establishing partnerships, updating certificates, and conducting staff meetings.

Mary also served as the Program Administrator at the Twelfth Baptist Church Preschool, where they designed educational and operational plans to restore the preschool's educational license. Mary E. Barnett mentored and coached staff, enrolling them in the EEC Bachelors Program.

In addition, Mary worked as the Executive Director of the National Oak Park High School Alumni Association, managing a tax-exempt organization that provides scholarships and supports educational opportunities for children, youth, and young adults.
