Ryan McCoy

Ryan McCoy, CPA has a diverse range of work experience. Ryan began their career as a Staff Accountant at Winther, Stave & Co., LLP in 2004 and stayed with the company until 2006. Ryan then taught economics at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, Ryan became an Accountant at Praxair, where they handled various responsibilities such as GL Account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and audit assistance. Ryan worked closely with CFOs of joint ventures in Florida and Texas. Ryan joined Syngenta as a Financial Analyst in June 2011 but left the company in November 2011. Ryan then worked as a Senior Auditor at Ryun, Givens & Company, P.L.C. from November 2011 to February 2014. Following that, Ryan served as a Revenue Manager at Care Initiatives from February 2014 to August 2016. Ryan then became the Operations Director at C BAR N MISSION from August 2016 until June 2022. Most recently, Ryan worked as a Financial Analyst/CPA at Care Initiatives from May 2022 to February 2023. Ryan is currently the Chief Financial Officer at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines, a position they started in February 2023.

Ryan McCoy, CPA completed their education at Liberty University where they pursued a degree in Business with a specialization in Accounting. Ryan attended Clearwater Christian College for a brief period in 1999-2000 but did not obtain a degree there. Ryan McCoy obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from NASBA in 2019.
