Marie Carpenter

Marie Carpenter currently serves as the Vice President of Mission Advancement at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles since July 2025. With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Carpenter has held significant roles such as Chief Development Officer and Director of Development at CASA of Los Angeles from August 2013 to July 2025. Additionally, Carpenter has been the Owner & Photographer of 33photography since June 2003. Previous positions include Community Relations Manager at the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank, Development Director at Holt International Children's Services, and Event Manager at Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County, among others. Carpenter also contributed as an instructor at California State Polytechnic Extended University from April 2017 to July 2025. A graduate of California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, Carpenter holds a BS in Communications.
