Anna Swanby-Laisne

Anna Swanby-Laisne is the Senior Executive for Data, Evaluation & Learning at YMCA of Greater New York. Anna has over ten years of experience in the field of research and program evaluation.

Anna began their career as an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of the New York Urban League. In this role, they provided administrative support to the President & CEO, managed special projects, and coordinated events. After three years in this role, Anna transitioned to NYU Wagner, where they taught recitation sections and conducted weekly tutoring sessions for PADM-GP 2902 Multiple Regressions.

After their time at NYU Wagner, Anna worked as a Program Assistant for the Silver School of Social Work Doctoral Program at New York University. In this role, they provided administrative support to faculty and staff, managed student records, and assisted with event planning. Anna then transitioned to the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, where they worked as a Senior Planner. In this role, they assisted in monitoring independent evaluators, conducted research and literature reviews, drafted research memorandum, and obtained and analyzed data.

Most recently, Anna has taken on the role of Senior Executive for Data, Evaluation & Learning at YMCA of Greater New York. In this role, they manage a team of analysts who are responsible for collecting and analyzing data to support program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts across the Association.

Anna Swanby-Laisne is a dual degree candidate at NYU Wagner, where they are pursuing their Master of Public Administration and Master of Urban Planning. Anna holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Lafayette College and is certified in Salesforce Administration and Human Subjects Research.

Anna Swanby-Laisne reports to Sharon Greenberger, President & CEO. They work with Alexandra Blair - Vice President, Development, Dordy Jourdain - Vice President, Field Operations, and Jody Grapes - VP, Property Management.
