Justin Carroll

Justin Carroll is a board member at YMCA of Greater New York. Justin previously worked as a managing director at Guggenheim Partners from December 2014 to August 2020. At Guggenheim, they were a senior member of the legal team that handled transactional matters, including loan origination, private fund and separately managed account formation, leverage finance structuring and negotiation, private placements, M&A, distressed investments, venture capital investment, creditor's rights, corporate governance, and special-situations analysis. Justin specialized in workouts & reorganizations, active distressed debt investing, downside distressed investing and portfolio company management.

From October 2009 to June 2010, Justin served as campaign manager for Corey O'Brien for Congress. Prior to that, they worked as an attorney at JONES DAY from September 2008 to November 2014. Justin started at JONES DAY as a legal assistant from October 2003 to June 2005.

Justin Carroll has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and an A.B. from Princeton University. Justin is also certified as an insolvency and restructuring advisor by the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
