Tera Thomas

Tera Thomas is the current Vice President of Advancement at the YMCA of Greater Omaha. Tera has been with the YMCA for over 15 years, in several different capacities. Tera started as a Teen Program Director/Corporate Membership at the YMCA of Greater Omaha, before moving to the YMCA of Greater Wichita as a Branch Director. Tera then returned to the YMCA of Greater Omaha as a Senior Membership Director. In their current role, they are responsible for leading the team that raises funds for the YMCA through donations and grants.

Tera is a passionate advocate for the YMCA and its mission to provide affordable, accessible programs for all. Tera is a skilled fundraiser and has a proven track record of success in their previous roles. Tera is a strong leader and motivator, and is dedicated to helping the YMCA reach its fundraising goals.

Tera Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

They work with Lance Cohn - EVP & COO, Sha Foland Bemba - VP of Membership & Programs, and Paula Israel - VP of Property. Tera Thomas reports to Rebecca Deterding, Interim CEO & CFO.
