Ernest Lamour

Ernest Lamour currently serves as the President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Rochester, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Lamour was a member of the Board of Directors at Ascendia Bank from June 2021 to December 2023. Lamour has extensive experience in leadership within the YMCA organization, having been the President and CEO of Ridgewood YMCA from December 2016 to December 2022 and the Chief Executive Officer of Stamford YMCA from December 2008 to December 2016. Lamour's career also includes serving as Athletics Director at the Jewish High School of CT and holding various leadership roles at the Stamford Jewish Community Center. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern Connecticut State University.
