James Fischer

James Fischer is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as the Information Technology Team Lead at the YMCA of Greater Rochester since 2024. Prior roles include Senior Solutions Technician at JUST SOLUTIONS, INC. and tier 2 Technical Support Engineer at Datto Inc., where expertise in Owncloud and Office 365 was developed. Additional experience includes a role as a Help Desk Analyst for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance and driving for stop & shop peapod. James also operated Prism Computers, designing and maintaining computer systems across multiple states. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from SUNY Empire State College and an AAS in Computer Networking Systems from the State University of New York, alongside certifications in CCNA from Cisco Net Academy.
