Toma Afolayan

Toma Afolayan, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller and previously held the position of Director of Grants and Contracts at the YMCA of Greater Seattle since May 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an Auditor at Clark Nuber PS, where Toma conducted reviews and audits to ensure compliance with government regulations, and as a Senior Accountant at GYL Decauwer LLP, performing compliance audits and preparing financial statements for non-profit entities. Toma's auditing experience also encompasses a position at Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co., LLP, focusing on financial statement and internal control audits for educational institutions and non-profit organizations. Toma holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business and a Business Economics degree with an Accounting emphasis from the University of California Santa Barbara, complemented by studies at the University of Cambridge.
