Dr. Andria M. has a diverse work experience in various educational roles. Dr. Andria has served as the Vice President of Early Learning at the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Educational Specialist for Leadership Development at Fairfax County Public Schools from December 2018 to November 2019. Dr. Andria also held positions at Imagine Schools as both a Regional Director for Maryland and a Regional Education Specialist from 2013 to 2018. In addition, they worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of the District of Columbia in 2013 and as an Assistant Professor at Shorter University from 2012 to 2013. Their earliest work experience was as a Title 1 Instructional District Coach at DeKalb County School District from 2007 to 2012.
Dr. Andria M. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Child Development at Spelman College from 1998 to 2001. For their postgraduate education, they earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Central Michigan University.

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is an association of volunteers, members and staff, open to and serving all, with programs and services which build spirit, mind, and body. We serve more than 300,000 individuals with 21 full facilities, six additional program only sites and four childcare locations. The Y provides more than $5.5 million annually in financial assistance to support more than 25,000 youth, teens and families. The Y offers programs that serve kids, adults and families at all stages of life.
