Timothy Nichols

Timothy Nichols, PWS, serves as the Environmental Planning Manager and Environmental OV Manager for AECOM, focusing on the Georgia Express Lanes SR 400 project since October 2018. Previously, Timothy held positions as Senior Ecologist and NEPA Specialist at various organizations, including Wood and Kennedy Engineering & Associates, where responsibilities encompassed stream and wetland delineations, endangered species surveys, and NEPA document preparation. Timothy also has experience in environmental education as a Science Instructor at Dutchtown High School, coaching youth soccer, and managing elephant programs at multiple zoos, leveraging a strong academic background with an M.S. in Biology from the University of West Georgia and a B.S. in Biology/Anthropology from Kennesaw State University.
