Andrea Cavanagh

Andrea Cavanagh, MBA, CPA, currently serves as the VP of Finance, IT, and Business Systems at the YMCA of Oakville, a role held since January 2023. Previously, Andrea held various positions within the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, including Director of Finance, Acting Director of Finance, and Assistant Financial Controller from December 2018 to January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Financial Analyst at the Royal Botanical Gardens from August 2015 to November 2018 and completing preparatory courses for the CPA designation at McMaster University and CPA Ontario from September 2012 to August 2018. Andrea's earlier career includes roles as a Commercial Sales Representative at Blair Blanchard Stapleton Limited, Transaction Manager at Rock Apartment Advisors, and Associate - Asset Management and Analyst at LaSalle Investment Management. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a BSc Honours in Pharmacology/Toxicology from Western University.
