Heather Angel

Heather Angel is a human resources executive and board member who has worked for Phelps, Oakville Hydro, Golder & Associates, the Canadian Diabetes Association, and Mylan.

Heather is currently a board member at the YMCA of Oakville.

Previously, they were the National Human Development Leader at Golder & Associates, responsible for the development of a vibrant Human Resources strategy encompassing the entire talent management cycle including acquisition of key talent, leadership succession planning, total rewards design and administration, human resources metrics and analytics for labour costing and decision-making as well as payroll management for the global company's largest revenue generating division.

Before that, they were the Executive Director of Human Resources at the Canadian Diabetes Association where they were responsible for all aspects of the human resources function for 2 legal entities including all employee relations and labour negotiations for 5 bargaining units.

Prior to that, Heather was the Vice President of Human Resources at Mylan.

In addition to their work in human resources, Heather has also served as a Governor on the Board of Governors at Sheridan College from 2007-2012.

Heather Angel has a degree in Sociology from York University and a Masters in Adult Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. Heather also has a Professional Coaching Certificate from Adler University and an Ontario Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Waterloo.
