Paula Capone

Paula Capone is an experienced nonprofit leader with a diverse background in program management and organizational advancement. Currently serving as the Camp Hope & Project Pathways Manager at YMCA of Rock River Valley, Inc., since March 2024, Paula previously held roles including Executive Director at Girls on the Run of Northwest Illinois and GiGi's Playhouse Rockford, where responsibilities entailed mission facilitation, financial planning, and strategic development. Paula's earlier experience includes positions at YMCA of Rock River Valley as the Chief Advancement Officer, Development Assistant, and Accounts Payable Manager/Senior Club's Coordinator, as well as Youth Program Director, overseeing youth programs and summer camp operations. Paula holds two Bachelor's degrees in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies from Eastern Illinois University.
