Rik Nicholson has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Rik started their career as a Program Director at the YMCA of San Diego County in 1992 and worked there until 1999. Rik then moved to YMCA Camp Campbell, where they served as an Associate Executive Director from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, Rik joined the YMCA of Silicon Valley and held various roles, including Visual Communications Manager from 2003 to 2008. Rik later became the Director of Marketing and Communications - Brand & Creative, a role they still hold. In this position, they oversee marketing and communications for one of the largest YMCA associations in the U.S. with 12 locations in Silicon Valley and over 196,000 members.
Rik Nicholson completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Arts from the University of Arizona from 1987 to 1991.
