Tonya Ruby

Tonya Ruby serves as the Chief Volunteer Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the YMCA Of Southern Nevada, where responsibilities include recruiting and leading a board of directors comprised of 35 C-Suite leaders and implementing strategic planning initiatives to achieve an annual revenue goal of $10 million. Prior to this role, Tonya Ruby held several positions at Cox Communications over nearly two decades, including Vice President of Cox Media, where oversight encompassed marketing, advertising, and operations, and Senior Director of Sales Enablement, focusing on business transformation for a $3 billion sales organization. Tonya Ruby's diverse experience also includes roles in business development, sales management, and human resources across various industries, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from UCLA.
