Diego Serna

Diego Serna is a Program Coordinator for Web Experience at YMCA of the East Bay since December 2023, specializing in website inquiries, content updates, and creating educational program resources. As a Freelance Photographer since March 2021, Diego also served as a Digital Marketing Mentor at COOP from January to December 2023, coaching recent college graduates in digital marketing fundamentals. Diego's experience includes an SEO Internship at Veewz and a Grants and Contracts Assistant role at Gladstone Institutes, where technical copywriting and contract management were key responsibilities. Earlier roles as a Copywriter and Editor for GRANT Garant s.r.o. and a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley focused on psychosocial research and survey management. Diego holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by a study abroad program at Charles University and a fellowship with COOP Careers.
