Alaina Ruggery

Alaina Ruggery serves as the Regional Group Fitness Director at the YMCA of the Triangle, where responsibilities include managing over 100 part-time staff and 125 group fitness classes weekly, along with program development and training initiatives. With a strong background in social media and marketing, Alaina has held various titles at French/West/Vaughan, progressing from Social Media Coordinator to Director. Previous experience includes roles at Capitol Broadcasting Company and Intrepid Marketing Group. Alaina’s early career encompassed positions in communications and event planning, including a Vice President role for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. Alaina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal, Organizational, and Rhetorical Communication from North Carolina State University.
