Brian Keel

Brian Keel is the interim Chief Financial Officer at YMCA of the Triangle. Brian has previously served as the Senior Resource Specialist for finance at YMCA of the USA, the Chief Financial Officer for Communities In Schools of North Carolina, and the Chief Financial Officer for State Employees Association of N.C. (SEANC). Brian has also volunteered with YMCA of the Triangle in the past. Prior to their work in the non-profit sector, Keel worked as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Redwoods Group and as a member of the Kerr Family YMCA/YMCA at the Factory. Brian began their career in the YMCA system as the Executive Vice President of Operations for YMCA of Greater Toledo, a position they held from December 2003 to December 2010, when they were promoted to Chief Financial Officer, a role they served in until December 2009.

Brian Keel has an MBA in Accounting from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron.

Brian Keel reports to Doug McMillan, President & CEO. Brian Keel works with Hamilton Sloan - Treasurer, Tony Campione - Chief Experience Officer, and Lisa Scott - Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer.
