Sylvester Mabasa

Sylvester Mabasa is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend and full stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Yoco since May 2021, Sylvester has a strong background in creating and implementing complex systems, including a point of sale system during tenure at BNRY from November 2018 to April 2021. Prior roles include Technical Consultant for the Cell C digital project with EOH Digital Platoon, where ReactJS and Java Microservices were utilized, and Junior Software Engineer at FinChatBot, focusing on custom chatbot development for the financial sector using NodeJs and ReactJs. Sylvester's career commenced as an Application Developer with Gijima, maintaining a patient administration system in C#. Sylvester holds a diploma in Java Programming from Belgium Campus, obtained in 2016.
