Francisco Yackel

Francisco Yackel has a work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. Francisco started their career as a Software Web Developer at Smooth Cursor in December 2015. In January 2016, they moved on to work as a Summer Intern at Intel Corporation. From May 2017 to October 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Banco Bica S.A. Following this, they joined KINEXO S.A. as a Software Developer from October 2018 to February 2019. Francisco then joined Mercado Libre in February 2019. At Mercado Libre, they held various positions such as Analyst Software Engineer, Software Development SSr. Analyst, Data Scientist & Software Development Engineer, and Sr Software Engineer. Francisco'slatest work experience is at The Linux Foundation, where they currently serve as a Software Engineer since June 2022.

Francisco Yackel attended Universidad Nacional del Litoral from 2012 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Informatics Engineering. Francisco also enrolled in the Centro de Idiomas at the same university from 2014 to 2017 to further their English language skills. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they attended Escuela de enseñanza Técnica EET N° 455 “Gral. Don José de San Martín”, Esperanza, Santa Fe, where they obtained a degree as a Technician in electromechanical equipment and installations.

In addition to their formal education, Francisco acquired additional certifications in "Essentials of Cryptography and Network Security" and "Understanding Data Science" from Lynda.com in February 2017.
