Chung-Yang (Ric) Huang has held a variety of roles in the business world since 2008. Chung-Yang (Ric) began their career as the Associate Director of the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Program at the National Taiwan University in 2008. Chung-Yang (Ric) then became the Chair of the Taipei Chapter of the IEEE Council on Electric Design Automation in 2010, and an Associate Professor at the National Taiwan University in 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Consultant for Cadence Design Systems. In 2014, they became the Executive Vice President of the NTU Entrepreneurship Center. In 2015, they were both the Founder of Yoctol Info. Inc. and a member of the Investment Review Committee for the Taiwan Silicon Valley Technology Fund Investment Program of the National Development Fund. In 2016, they joined the Board of the Taiwan Data Smart Association, and in 2017, they became an Independent Director for both Deluxe Technology Group and VIVOTEK.

Chung-Yang (Ric) Huang received their B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University between 1988 and 1992. Chung-Yang (Ric) then went on to obtain their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara between 1995 and 2000.
