Vasilis Kanas

Vasilis Kanas, PhD, is an experienced software engineer with a focus on backend development, data analytics, and cloud services. Currently a Mid-Senior Software Engineer at yodiwo, Vasilis has previously contributed as a Back End Engineer at Giotto Project, where responsibilities included the implementation of APIs and data management for manufacturing processes. Vasilis served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Patras, overseeing team activities and contributing to publications and project organization. Additional experience includes roles in data analysis and modeling during doctoral studies and various research positions at institutions such as the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" and the University of Patras. Vasilis holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field.
