Ashley Conyers, MBA, is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Yoga Instructor at CorePower Yoga and Yoga Alliance while pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law. As a Marshall-Motley Scholar with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., Ashley is focused on legal advocacy. Previous experiences include roles as a Legal Intern at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation, a Judicial Extern at the North Carolina Supreme Court, and a Summer Intern at the Southern Center for Human Rights. Additionally, Ashley worked as a Criminal Investigator/Paralegal for the Georgia Public Defender Council and served as a Data Analyst VISTA for the National Legal Aid & Defender Association. Prior to these legal and advocacy roles, Ashley was a Store Director at Sephora, where business management skills were honed. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
