Jocelyn Prudencio

Jocelyn Prudencio, CPA, CAE has a diverse work experience in the financial and accounting field. Jocelyn is currently a Manager at O'Connor Consulting Services since 2023. Prior to this, Jocelyn held the role of Vice President of Finance at Yoga Alliance, where they strategically transformed the financial structure and operations of the trade association. Jocelyn also replaced the outsourced accounting function with an internal finance team, resulting in faster reporting and financial analysis.

Jocelyn has also served as the Director of Accounting and Finance at Polaris Project, where they drove the transformation of the accounting department and implemented advanced accounting software. Additionally, they worked as a Manager at Veris Consulting, Inc and as a Senior Consulting Manager at Beyond the Bottom Line, providing financial advisory services and enhancing procedures for nonprofits.

Furthermore, Jocelyn has experience as a Controller at Oceana and an Accounting Manager at the Mortgage Bankers Association. Throughout their career, they have managed teams, implemented financial systems, and optimized policies and procedures to improve the financial functions of various organizations.

Jocelyn Prudencio, CPA, CAE holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from American University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including "Certified Public Accountant" from VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in 2003, "Financial Forecasting with Big Data" from LinkedIn in 2019, and "Lead Inclusive Teams and Organizations" from LinkedIn in 2022.
