Leah Sugerman

Leah Sugerman has a diverse work experience in the yoga and wellness industry. Leah is the Founder and Yoga Teacher Trainer at Nomad Yoga, where they began working in January 2019. Leah is also an Online Meditation Teacher at Insight Timer, starting from the same time period. In 2018, Leah worked as a Contributing Writer at YogaUOnline and an Editor at YogiApproved.com, where they also held the role of Staff Writer and Online Yoga Instructor starting in April 2017. Leah has also worked as an Online Yoga Instructor at Daily Yoga since August 2018. Leah has contributed their writing skills to publications such as Yoga Journal, Yoga International, Rodale Inc., and International Living. Additionally, Leah has experience as a Yoga Retreat Leader for Summersalt Yoga Retreats since September 2015. Leah Sugerman's education history begins with their earning a BA in Theatre Arts and BA in Psychology from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2013, Leah obtained a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Frog Lotus International Yoga School, specializing in Vinyasa Yoga. Later that same year, Leah received their E-RYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level) certification from the Yoga Alliance. In 2018, they attended the Yandara Yoga Institute and completed a 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Certification, focusing on Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy. In addition to their formal education, Leah also holds the title of Equity Membership Candidate from the Actors' Equity Association, achieved in April 2012.
