Gloria McGurn is a dedicated healthcare professional and yoga therapist with a diverse background in medical and educational settings. As the founder of the Spartan Alliance for Disability Inclusion and Equity (SADIE), Gloria advocates for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses, promoting patient autonomy, beneficence, and justice. Currently pursuing a 500 Hour RYT certification through Yoga Medicine, Gloria previously served as a yoga instructor at Pure Hot Yoga GR and held various healthcare roles, including Covid-19 Vaccine Research Assistant at Cherry Health and EMT-B at Elite Ambulance-IL. With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University and currently an MD candidate at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Gloria also has experience in teaching and research, contributing to community-based initiatives and academic publications.
