Sonja Gmelin

Sonja Gmelin has had a long and varied career in marketing and business development. Sonja began their career in 1996 as an Auszubildender im Projektbereich at Otto (GmbH & Co KG). In 2001, they interned at Henrion Ludlow Schmidt in Consulting and Business Development. Sonja then interned at Kraft Foods in 2002 in Marketing, and at L'Oréal in 2004 in Consumer Marketing. In 2006, they interned at Unilever in Consumer Marketing and also worked as a Junior Brand Manager SMARTIES, Bezirksleiter Vertrieb, and Brand Manager Riegel Impuls at Nestlé. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Henkel as Regional Brand Manager OTC DACH Schwarzkopf Professional and International Senior Brand Manager. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have worked at Yogi as Marketing Manager Europe, Head of Marketing Europe, Marketing Director (member of Exec), and Global Vice President Marketing & Creative.

Sonja Gmelin studied Betriebswirtschaftslehre at the University of Hamburg from 1999 to 2006, earning a Diplom. In 2003, they also attended KEDGE Business School.
