Ashish Ganta

Ashish Ganta has six years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer. In 2021, they began working at Yohana, a wellness company creating software, services, and hardware specifically for modern families. In 2020, they worked at both Ford Motor Company and Panha Solutions. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at BCCL Worldwide Inc., where they implemented Entity Recognition and Machine Translation systems, developed NLP systems, and was responsible for data and computation resource estimation, ML model training, and validation. In 2016, they were a Graduate Assistant at Clemson University, where they coordinated ECE2070 Basic EE course for over 100 undergraduate students, taught students via review sessions, and created and evaluated tests and homework. In 2013, they were an Intern Research Assistant at Osservatorio Astronomico di Roma-INAF, where they worked on an astronomical image profile matching software ConvPhot and implemented efficient FFT routines for image convolutions in FITS file format. Ashish also explored different algorithms for sparse matrix inversion, in addition to existing implementations of SVD.

Ashish Ganta earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar in 2014. Ashish then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, which they completed in 2017.
