Maria Legaard Kjeldsen

Spatial Designer at YOKE

Maria Legaard Kjeldsen is a spatial designer who has worked in a variety of settings, from museums to pantomime theatres. Maria began their career as an intern at Jeppe Hein Studio, before working as a production assistant at Live Art Installations. Maria then moved on to Exhibition Designer at SMK – Statens Museum for Kunst. In 2017, they began working as a Spatial Designer at 2+1 Idébureau, followed by a period as a Spatial Designer at their own company, Maria Legaard Kjeldsen. Maria is currently working as a Spatial Designer at YOKE. Throughout their career, Maria has shown a dedication to their craft, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique spaces.

Maria Legaard Kjeldsen went to The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts /School of Design for both their MA and BA in Furniture and Spatial Design. Maria also went to Copenhagen Technical College for Drawing and Illustration + Scenography and Krabbesholm Højskole for Product Design.
