Bret Hewitt

Bret Hewitt is a highly experienced finance, investments, and non-profit executive with a robust background in leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Board Member and Investments Committee Chair at Sacramento Region Community Foundation since 2021, and President of Yolo Community Foundation since 2018, Bret is also an Advisory Board Member at UC Davis Humanities Institute and Advisory Council Chair at UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden. Formerly, Bret held significant positions including Managing Director at Cambridge Associates, overseeing senior management and investment consulting relationships from 1996 to 2014, and served as CxO at CxORE from 2014 to 2017. Bret's educational credentials include an MBA in Public Management & Finance from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master of Arts in Energy Policy & Regulation from UC Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science/Public Service and Mass Communication from UC Davis.
