Anibal Soler, Jr. currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for Yonkers Public Schools, the third largest school district in New York, overseeing over 24,000 students across 40 campuses since May 2024. Previously, Anibal held the position of Superintendent in the Schenectady City School District from July 2021 to April 2024, and the Batavia City School District from January 2020 to July 2021. Anibal's career in education also includes serving as Associate Superintendent and Principal within the Buffalo Public School System, as well as various roles in the Rochester City School District, where responsibilities ranged from supervising academic departments to teaching art. Anibal holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Manhattanville University, along with a Master’s in Educational Administration from St. John Fisher University and a Bachelor’s in Art Education from Daemen University.
