Andrew Leeming

Andrew Leeming currently serves as the Head of Strategy at York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority since June 2020. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Head of Infrastructure and Strategy at the York, North Yorkshire, and East Riding Partnership from August 2011 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leadership in infrastructure developments, Growth Funding, and strategy. Andrew's earlier experience includes positions as Head of Programme Co-ordination at the York and North Yorkshire Partnership Unit from May 2005 to August 2011, Economic Development Manager at Ryedale District Council from April 2000 to May 2005, and Rural Programme Manager at North Yorkshire County Council from October 1990 to April 2000. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Town Planning from Leeds Beckett University, completed between 1986 and 1990, and previously attended York College of Arts and Technology from 1984 to 1986, along with Knavesmire School in York from 1978 to 1983.
