Lisa Chong

Lisa Chong has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lisa started their career at Credential Financial Inc. in 1997 as a Supervisor for Marketing Projects and later served as the Acting Marketing Manager until 2003. Lisa then joined Pivotal Corporation as a Product Marketing Intern in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, Lisa worked at Stockhouse Inc. as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Product Marketing Manager. In 2009, they had a three-month contract as a Marketing Assistant at Citizens Bank of Canada Corporate Office.

In the same year, Lisa became an Independent Consultant, specializing in marketing consultancy and business writing. Lisa provided services such as developing strategic marketing plans, creating targeted content for marketing materials, and writing corporate reports. Lisa held this role until 2016.

Following their time as an independent consultant, Lisa joined Credential Financial Inc. again in 2014 as a Senior Manager for Strategic Communications on a contract basis, before transitioning to the role of Senior Manager for Marketing Programs. In 2016, Lisa joined York & Chapel as a Senior Account Manager and eventually became the VP of Client Services in May 2019, where they continue to work.

Lisa Chong completed their education with a BCom. degree in Marketing from the Faculty of Commerce at the University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Strategic Management and eBusiness at the Sauder School of Business, also at the University of British Columbia. In addition to their academic qualifications, Lisa Chong obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2016.
