Candice Welch is an experienced educator with a robust background in middle school administration and mathematics instruction. Currently serving as the Middle School Principal at York County School Division since July 2016, Candice previously held the position of Assistant Principal at Tabb High School, where responsibilities included instructional leadership, discipline oversight, and the development of LEP plans. Prior to this role, Candice worked as a Middle School Math Specialist at New Kent County Public Schools, employing data analysis and coaching to enhance math education. Candice began their career in Henrico County Public Schools, teaching both seventh-grade English and math, and later transitioned to Chesterfield County, where tenure included teaching and leading as the Math Department Chair. Candice holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Longwood University.
