Jim Carroll

Jim Carroll is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Chief Operations Officer for York County School Division since December 2014, overseeing various operational aspects such as capital construction projects and facilities management. Previously, Jim held the roles of Chief Human Resources Officer and founding principal of a high-performing middle school in Cabarrus County Schools, where significant student achievement growth was achieved. Jim's extensive background also includes various leadership positions at the Indian River Charter High School and School District of Indian River County. Jim's academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Wingate University and a Graduate Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University.
